Design narrative

The Meridian Residence is conceived as a finely tuned threshold between city and sky. The design language is deliberately restrained—muted mineral tones, warm metals, and tactile natural finishes—so that light becomes the primary material. Long sightlines, softened edges, and layered lighting create a slow reveal of spaces, encouraging residents and guests to move, pause, and re-discover the home throughout the day. Custom joinery pieces are treated as architectural interventions, concealing storage, integrating art, and framing key views of the Mumbai skyline.

While the overall atmosphere remains calm and cohesive, each room is given its own subtle personality through curated art, collectible furniture, and crafted textiles. The project balances precision with warmth: rigorous planning, seamless detailing, and technology hidden in plain sight support a lifestyle that feels effortless, while handcrafted elements, patina-ready materials, and generous, inviting proportions ensure the home remains lived-in, evolving, and distinctly personal over time.
