Studio Philosophy

Founded by Abhay Kanvinde and Sangeeta Mahale, Studio Kasba brings together experience, curiosity, and a strong sensitivity to detail. We strive to create work that is thoughtful without being predictable, refined without being excessive, and distinctive without losing its sense of belonging.
We believe good design begins with looking closely — at how people live, how spaces are experienced, how objects are made, and how they come together. Our work moves between interior design, product styling, and photography, allowing us to explore design not as separate disciplines, but as connected forms of visual expression.
We value simplicity, proportion, materiality, and the character of the everyday. Rather than following a prescribed aesthetic, we respond to the context, purpose, and people behind each project. Every element is considered for its contribution to the larger composition — from the architecture of a space to the detail of an object and the way it is captured through an image.
