Design Philosophy

The Bandra Penthouse is envisioned as a quiet, elevated escape from the density of the city below. The conceptual narrative focuses on blurring the boundary between inside and outside through generous glazing, low-slung furniture compositions, and an emphasis on long, cinematic sightlines. The planning prioritizes natural light, intuitive circulation, and framed views, while each room is given a distinct mood through tonal palettes and subtle shifts in materiality. The overall language is minimal yet warm, celebrating negative space as much as crafted detail.

Materials & Palette

The material story layers calm, neutral foundations with moments of rich contrast to echo the character of Bandra itself. Honed stone flooring, warm-toned natural wood, and soft, textured wall finishes create a gentle backdrop for sculptural lighting and custom joinery. Brushed metal accents, deeply upholstered seating, and a curated mix of contemporary and classic furniture silhouettes add depth and tactility.
